"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?" - Alice

Rehearsal News
Caroline Bonner started last evening.  We learned the beginning and the ending of the play.  Wow!  This is fantastic!  We will learn music (large numbers) on Monday and Wednesday as planned.  Ms. Branz will be the vocal coach, working with the solos each Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.  Parents can see the break down for these songs on the scene breakdown.  It is never too early to learn lines and songs!  Once we block a scene they need to start learning the lines and the songs from that scene.

Younger Actors
Our younger actors will begin working on their music in their specials music class during the school day.  This is a departure from last year, and we think it will work out very well.  We'll bring the younger actors in later in the rehearsal schedule, as we pull together the production as a whole.

Change to Rehearsal Arrival -
Please arrive in the MUSIC room (118) at 6:14 pm (1 minute before 6:15!).  Please, please be prompt, and ready for focused fun.  If your actor must miss rehearsal, it is very important that you let the director know ahead of time - it is VERY hard to catch up if one misses rehearsal, and the blocking for the remainder of the cast must change to adapt.

Calling all musicians!
We are looking for a guitar (electric) player, percussionist, harmonica player and trumpet player that can READ music, be comfortable adjusting if there is a problem on stage, and play with our accompanist and under his lead.  These musicians need to be able to make the last 12 rehearsals.  If any parent or high school to college age sibling is interested, please contact me directly!.  This would be a DREAM come true if we could find these volunteers.  If the volunteer is in high school or college where service hours or internship hours are required, a certificate of time signed by both Mr. Wicker and I will be given to the musicians to honor their time...I only wish we had a million dollar budget)

Remember, Actors should remember to bring water bottles, scripts, pencils, and highlighters... and be sure to label  those water-bottles and scripts.
